Hi, we’re Vanessa and Jared. We’ve been best friends since grade school, and after more than a year of marriage, our greatest hope is to grow our family together.

My journey to motherhood has been marked by a painful chapter. In my previous marriage, I was pressured into a procedure that left my tubes irreversibly tied and burned. For a long time, I believed that meant I could never carry a child. Then I met Jared again—my childhood friend turned lifelong partner—and together we dared to hope. We’ve spent the last three years holding onto that dream, researching options, and clinging to the possibility of IVF with the help of a gestational carrier. It’s been an emotional rollercoaster, balancing hope with the reality of our situation, but our desire to become parents has only grown stronger.

Saving for this path has been our biggest hurdle. Between daily bills and life’s unexpected expenses, setting aside enough for IVF and surrogacy fees feels nearly impossible on our own. That’s why we’re humbly reaching out for support. Every contribution will go directly toward the medical procedures, agency costs, and care needed to help us welcome a baby into our family.
